    hospitable hosts
    delicious breakfast
    comfortable room
    broken hairdryer
    minor issue

Our stay was wonderful! The hosts are extremely hospitable, and Richard shared great advice about sightseeing and wildlife viewing. The breakfast was fantastic—the sourdough pancakes and perfectly crispy bacon were highlights! The Chinook Room was very comfortable, and having a private bathroom added to the convenience.

The hairdryer needed to be replaced.

    small space

Room dimensions appear exaggerated. the listed 200 sq ft is likely closer to 144 sq ft, making movement difficult—especially with bags. The awkward ceiling corners require caution when navigating, and there's no place to hang clothes, making the space feel cluttered. The shower is on the small side, and the linens felt dated.

    craftsmanship balcony
    small room cramped

Richard's hospitality and insightful tips enriched our Seward experience. The cozy balcony was perfect for watching wildlife, and the structure's artisanal woodcraft was truly impressive.

    delicious breakfast
    helpful hosts
    comfortable room
    small room
    lack of closet
    crowded common area

The stay had some highlights, including a delicious breakfast with sourdough pancakes and bacon. However, the queen room was quite small, making it tricky to move around, especially with luggage. Additionally, there wasn't adequate space to hang clothes, which felt inconvenient during our trip.

lovingly built home, cozy common area, balcony access

Awkward ceiling corners made moving around a chore!!! No place to hang clothes left the room feeling cluttered and unorganized. The small shower felt cramped and dated linens didn't add any luxury!!!

    crowded common area

great stay but minor improvements needed

The hosts are incredibly warm, with Richard providing an outstanding breakfast of sourdough pancakes and bacon each morning! ! The stunning mountain view from the balcony is a serene escape. The common area is well-equipped and adds a cozy touch to the stay.

The common area can get crowded during breakfast hours.

    limited room space

The location is perfect for accessing local attractions, and the spacious balcony is fantastic for wildlife watching. The common area is cozy, with great amenities for families, including a play space for kids.

The queen room was a bit small for our family's luggage and belongings.

    hearty breakfasts

This was a decent spot for a quick trip in Seward with good value for money. Loved Richard's hearty breakfasts made with fresh ingredients—they definitely set the tone for our days. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner as only soap is provided.
